I had Elixir bookmarked because I love boba and don't really drink alcohol, so it was a perfect combo for me! We came for a belated birthday celebration with some friends. We found our way to the second floor to Elixir, and had about a 20-minute wait before being let in since we were a larger group of 5. The interior is not that big but is very decorated, with a cool atmosphere. There is a secret room behind a bookcase for VIP members ($100/year annual fee). Service was excellent and friendly with all servers in costume and fantasy names. The staff were extremely patient with us as it took several hours for the last person in our party to arrive. There were chess pieces to borrow to play chess on the chess board built-in to the table; just leave a photo ID (e.g. driver license) as deposit. The menu is small with a page of boba drinks and a page of ice cream. There is a secret menu with more items for VIP members, but as I am not VIP I am not sure what is on it. Prices are not cheap (~$12-14 per drink) but the drinks are very cool-looking and tasted great. The Prophecy comes with a free refill and the smoke bubble was cool. The napkins are stored in a box like a book, and they even have color-changing spoons for the ice cream. Even the ice water was served in crystal-shaped plastic glasses and dyed to multiple colors! This is definitely a full immersion experience! Four of us added the Wizard Test for $5 extra per person, and although more just a novelty it was fun using the wands and saying the spell, then trying to catch the bubbles and put them into our drinks. All in all, a unique and magical experience, kid-friendly up until 9PM, and open during the daytime Saturdays and Sundays only.

Went there tonight for my bday with my sister and her bf. Loved the place, it's definitely a hidden gem and a good place for all us nerds/geeks who want to have a place to commune. We had their ice cream and it's so yummy and creamy. The service was great and attentive. The ambiance is low lighting and intimate, very much a cave feeling with cool colored lights but they have games and cool decor! FYI: they have a secret room that is members only.

Very interesting place. The interior design is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. We got to meet and chat with the owner. After finding out he used to be a set designer, it made a lot of sense why the interior looked so cool. We were the fast ones there upon opening and got served very quickly. I ordered the Prophecy which had cardamom inside so it added a floral taste on the black tea base. It was honestly alright, it tasted a bit watered down. We then ordered the Java the Hutt ice cream which is essentially a coffee ice cream. It was incredibly delicious. It was rich and my friend and I were fighting over the last bite. The drinks need some work but overall a cool experience.

I visited Elixir after seeing something on IG that peaked my interest. It was a wonderful experience, something everyone should try! They serve boba tea, not alcohol like I thought. People of all ages are welcome most hours (after 9pm I think it's 18 and over). The experience is so immersive and the staff are EXCELLENT. They have wonderful attitudes and dig their roles immensely and it shows. I recommend you order "THE PROPHECY" and get the "WIZARD TEST" add on. My friends and I had a great time! We had no idea what to expect and were delighted by the whole experience. When in OC, you need to try this place at least once. The only reason this is a 4 star review is that the service was slow and inaccurate orders - but that does not take away from the 5 star attitudes and roles the staff played.

Elixir is such an amazing complete immersive experience! It's full fantasy movie, video game, and everything in between that you can think of that is nostalgic from your childhood. Or I should say the childhood of someone growing up in the 80s and 90s. I love all the small details. It takes forever to look around and you keep seeing cool things in every corner. So much to talk about with your party that you attend with, I could see this being a really good place to hang out with friends for a birthday or even a date night. The staff sings along with music blasting throughout the café that makes this so much fun. With everyone dancing and singing along to some awesome songs from the 80s 90s and beyond, it's a great place just to have a good time. The Boba is really good and they offer a wizard test that you can perform with a chosen wand and spell. If you perform it correctly, you can get a badge/sticker. My daughter had an awesome time and we didn't want the night to end because it was so much fun. The staff also genuinely loves what they do. You can tell by how enthusiastic and cool everyone is. Such a great experience I would highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

There is parking available in the plaza. It's located above the smoke shop. Walked in without reservations about 30 minutes before closing and they were doing last call. We sat at the bar. The waitress was very nice. We tried the dungeon monster ice cream $10 and the prophecy boba tea $11. We got a refill on the boba tea which was included. The interior is incredible! They have a members only club as well with a hidden entrance. You do need to take a test before you get accepted in. There is merchandise for purchase next to the bar as well.

I'll bite, this little tea bar is everyone fantasy nerd's fantasy. Or I guess... it's a fantasy land. It's tucked away upstairs where the psychic is and above the vape and sex toy store. Great, now that that's cleared up, let's actually talk shop. Everyone knows a good elixir is the solution to all ailments and you'll find something for yourself for elf, dwarf, wizard, warrior, or goblin alike. While this tea bar doesn't serve alcohol (will they ever? Who knows), they serve teas and ice cream (and maybe more if you're a member of their society). The price is way more than a standard tea or ice cream shop (think $10-15 per item) but you're mostly paying for the ambiance and experience. I will say I enjoyed the ice cream more than the tea. However, if you're looking to prove your worth as a wizard for a mere $5/person, then this just might be your chance. Fail, and forever know that you're nothing more than a muggle. Succeed, and bring home a small something that may enchant your life, who knows. I'll have you know, my gf and I are naturals. No pressure. Ambiance is the highlight though, every square inch is decorated and the service is pretty high energy. They're all dressed up and the bar space is all lit up with magical lights and fantasy beasts, it's not a dull moment here and makes for a fun experience if you're in the area.

The entrance is hidden away near the vape shop, it's upstairs on the second floor! My boyfriend had found this place on yelp, and we were in the area, decided to check it out. What a great decision, we had so much fun! Food: good boba drinks and icecream, nothing too special about the flavors, sweetness was just right. But the presentation was so neat and cool. Felt like I was actually transported to the wizarding world. The plastic spoon even changed color based on temperature! If you sign up for the wizard bubble test, they give you a cool wand (I got Luna Lovegood's wand), make you do fun different things like reciting stuff and poses, then have you catch a bubble to bring down to your drink. If you succeed, then they give a cool sticker, which is now placed on my water bottle haha Price: about $11-13 for drinks and $10 for icecream, which are very reasonable prices, the wizard bubble test was $5 extra Ambiance: best bar ambiance that I have ever stepped into! Omg wow this place was full of fun decorations that all screamed fantasy land, all the props were so cool, the lighting was fantastic. Even the servers and workers were dressed in costumes. Great place for date nights, but I also saw several families with little children as well. Service: just amazing, they were all so friendly, made us feel very welcome and comfortable. They really know how to party and keep our energy up hehe. Would love to come back again with some friends later! Parking: attached parking lots with lots of available spots, no problem finding a spot on random Thursday night, not sure how it would be during the weekend though

This place ROCKS!!!!!!! Grab your family, grab your friends. This tea bar is fun for all ages and is so much more than just a tea bar. It's a whole experience! You step into a land of fantasy, with servers dressed as elves and decor from varies pop culture movies/ tv shows (Harry Potter, Lord of The Rings, anime, etc). There's many secrets to discover, even a hidden doorway! Finding the location can be a bit tricky; you enter the front of the smoke shop (don't go in the actual smoke shop) and go up the stairs to the right. Follow the path and you will see lights and hear enchanting music. It will lure you inside... The tea drinks are really good. And the service is FANTASTIC. The staff really go above and beyond to create a fun adventure! The wizard test is tons of fun. But they have other fun games to do as well. I love how the staff stay in character the whole time. They offer the gold medallion for purchase. This gives you access to a secret VIP lounge in the back, whenever you come! The Elixir Tea Bar is a great place to enjoy tea and ice cream. There's nothing quite like it.
